The toddler (finally!) enjoys brushing his teeth!
This stubborn little mule has always provided us with a challenge when it comes to tooth brushing. It’s the last thing you need when already in a mad morning rush to get three out of the door in time for preschool.
Brush-Baby asked us to review a few of their award-winning products and I was happy to open the box to find:
- An Electric BabySonic toothbrush with two heads (for age 0-18mo and 18mo-36mo) and battery
- Incredibly tasty Applemint toothpaste
- Plenty of reward stickers
- A reward chart
The Brush-Baby BabySonic toothbrush
It’s a wonderful soft feeling brush and very easy for little hands to hold. The brush vibrates softly and isn’t noisy or scary when turned on. The brush also lights up (a big hit with the toddler!)
From a parent’s perspective, it is fast and simple to change the head and insert the free supplied battery (bonus) which comes in the pack. You can buy very reasonably priced replacement heads from their website.
Brush-Baby Applemint toothpaste
It is unsurprising that young children are more likely to brush their teeth if they like the toothpaste’s flavour and Brush-Baby’s toothpaste flavours are actually chosen by children!
The toothpaste is suitable for vegetarians, cruelty free and has Xylitol & Fluoride to prevent tooth decay.
Thomas LOVED the toothpaste. So much so that I had to limit him! I also had a quick taste and I can see why he enjoys it, it is slightly minty but mostly quite sweet in flavour.
Both he and his sister were rewarded with stickers after brushing their teeth and ticks on the chart which they enjoyed. This has encouraged them to brush their teeth twice daily as recommended by dentists.
We all genuinely loved Brush-Baby. The prices are actually very reasonable and the array of products is brilliant. (Their products range from newborn teething brushes and sets right through to KidzSonic toothbrushes for children aged 3-6 years and 6+ years too.)
I highly recommend taking a look at their website and trying out (in the very least) their Baby/KidzSonic brush and toothpastes, especially if you have a toddler that turns your bathroom into a war zone at tooth brushing times of the day!
